Hey guys! A little catch up of life as of late… we are currently planning Rory’s first birthday and I’m so excited for it. I’ve been scouring the internet for the perfect everything and I probably just need to stop haha because 90% of my days are on Pinterest, Etsy, or googling wherever I can find the best deals but cutest finds. I plan to do an entire post of her party! Zooey has one week left of school and I could not be more thrilled. Next week we head to Disneyland! I’m a little nervous for the heat & how Rory will do but it will have been her third time so maybe it’ll be a charm 😊 we are also moving right now so I’m definitely going to be losing my mind from now until the end of June! If you’d like send chocolate or wine to my rescue, go for it!
We’ve been trying to location scout a bit more for the blog but my parents property is just too perfect not to take advantage of for photos. I found this top at target for 50% off! I was skeptical to get it with the temps warming u but we have so many coastal summer trips booked that I thought it’d be perfect for cooler nights. It was definitely a piece that had zero hanger appeal but once I tried it on I fell in love. I honestly didn’t think I would fall in love with the ruffle trend as much as I did but it was too good to resist!
My jeans are an oldie but a goodie from Gap. I’ll always love me a good boyfriend jean. They are a size 4 and fit me really well. I love that the distressing is in all the right places.
I love pairing plain denim with a good heel. I always used to tell myself I could never “pull it off,” but it totally made the outfit. These are older from Tahari. I love the block heel so much because my feet are 10x happier and my feet hardly get sore or tired from them.
p.s. I just bought the cutest denim pants from Macy’s that I literally want to live in! I’ll give a full review of those this week!
Hope you guys had a great weekend!
